Waterproof canvas jacket with fleece lining in the top section. Note the length at the back whilst short enough to sit comfortably, work easily and access your tool belt. Domed placket across zip keeps the front dry too. High collar with fleece lining which can be worn folded down or pulled up - zip comes to edge of collar so it keeps your neck warm and dry.
Those of you who have been looking at the butterfly capes and saying how great it would be if they met at the front will be impressed.
We have used our ripstop, waterproof canvas to make this and it has no seams on the shoulders - so no potential leakage point. This canvas has been used for making our chaps for 10 years and we have proof that after that amount of time it is still going strong.
We are making these jackets in 3 sizes. Large which will fit most people up to a maybe XL, a 2XL size (which fits Murray) from XL up to about a 3XL and a 4XL which will fit those guys who tried the one Murray was wearing at the Auckland Boat Show and found it a little snug. The design means that it does not matter if it is a loose fit.
You can also choose to have pockets on the front of the jacket and/or hi vis in the top area in any of 3 hi- vis fluro colours. Our latest addition to this jacket is a ripstop tent taffetta hood which will dome onto the collar - picture to follow shortly.
